Could things really be looking up?

I'm almost afraid to write anything positive about Mike and Ashley. It seems every time I brag on them, they seem to back slide and end up back here without jobs or a car. But here goes anyway...

Mike is now working at a car dealer doing what he did in the Motor T. He is maintaining not one but two lots of a local car dealer (Toyota & Kia). He keeps the cars in order and makes sure the lots is neat and clean at all times and that everything is in order. He works 6 days a week and is actually making more on this job than he has on any other job since he got out of the Marines! Ashley is cooking at the Waffle again and is making more than the last time she worked for them too and they even found a 24 hour day care run by a church I grew up in that Jonathan loves. Right now they are staying with Josh and Kim since their jobs are on that side of town and are close to their apartment. This is working out ok for now since Josh and Kim are having car problems again and find themselves without wheels again. Mike said he and Ashley are planning to get a 2 bedroom apartment of their own as soon as possible. It's just a matter of coming up with the deposit.

We miss Jonathan because when Mike and Ashley first started their new jobs, we were keeping the little stinker. Sam got used to coming home and playing with him each night. Now the house is quiet with just the two of us here. Jenny is still away at BCT,and the dogs are no longer allowed upstairs in the house so the house stays clean and quiet. Usually we watch TV and nap after dinner. Nothing like a good nap before going to bed!
